Live Wedding Painting
As a live wedding painter, I have the unique opportunity to capture the love, emotion, and beauty of a couple's special day through my art! This allows me to connect not only with my couples, but their loved ones as well. I feel so forunate that I am able to create art that brings joy and happiness to others.
On Your Wedding Day
I arrive approximately two to three hours before the scene you've chosen to be captured to begin setting up painting the background. I take additional reference photos, which I thoughtfully merge in the painting to ensure every aspect of your vision is refelcted on the canvas. My set up includes a charming wooden easel that aids as a great visual addition to your special day!
That Special Moment
As for the couple, when that special moment I've been requested to paint occurs (first dance, ceremony exit, first kiss, cake cutting, etc.) I take either a controlled reference photo of the couple or an authentic, in the moment shot - which ever better suits your vision. As the day unfolds, guests get to watch the painting come to life while I add in beautiful details!
Final Touch Ups
I take the painting home to make a few touch - ups (I want it to look as perfect as possible) and apply a protective layer of varnish to ensure it lasts for years to come.
Investment
My starting rate for my "Intimate Package" is $1,200 and includes a 16 x 20 canvas painting of the couple during their favorite moment, 6 hours of live painting, and additional outside time out of the studio for touchups and varnishing. Custom packages can be designed determining canvas size and more. I require a $200 non refundable deposit and the remaining a day prior to the event.
